Dear Campers and Parents,

We are so excited that you have decided to be a part of Full Circle Summer Camp 2024! Due to the early start for many schools, we are shifting to the BEGINNING of the summer, and we will run from Sunday, May 26th- Saturday, June 1, 2024. For the answers to more questions, read on, and thanks for joining us for summer 21!

 

Where is Full Circle? 

We are pleased to have Hummingbird Music Camp as our host. They are located at 104 Hummingbird Lane, Jemez Springs, NM 87025. The drive from Albuquerque takes about 75 minutes; the drive from Santa Fe is about 90 minutes. 

 

When should I arrive? Please read carefully!

Registration and check in will take place between 4 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 26th. We will meet in the Gallery behind the dining hall at Hummingbird. Please note that there will be a concert and lots of traffic leaving until around 3:45. If you want to arrive early to avoid the parking rush, you are welcome to enjoy the grounds and the music; just know that we won’t really be able to help you check in until about 4 in the Gallery (the big yellow building closest to NM 4).

 

What should I bring? 

There is a list of suggested items attached. Please label all items with a permanent marker—that really helps us to avoid lost items. Also, please do not bring any electronic devices (cell phones, video games, digital cameras, ipods), food, valuables, or money. PARENTS: please DO NOT send sugary snacks to your children at camp. 

 

When do I get picked up?

Parents should plan to arrive at noon on Saturday, June 1st. Please bring a picnic lunch and come find us in the shell. Counselors will be in the main parking lot to direct you then. From noon to 1 p.m., you will eat lunch with your children and their friends. After lunch, at approximately 1 p.m., we will present our Saturday Performance in the shell. This program lasts about 75 minutes and features entertaining acts that highlight the learning from the week. After the finale, we’ll say our goodbyes till next year and send you on your way. 

 

What about telephone calls and mail? 

The number at camp is 505-829-3060. If you have a pressing concern, please feel free to call the camp. However, we try to keep the campers off the phone for a couple of reasons: 1) we want to keep the lines clear for Hummingbird and any emergencies; and 2) speaking to parents during the week tends to make the campers homesick.
